Wonderful Day at Parker Dam State Park

The five of us decided to trek up to Clearfield, PA to visit some old friends from college. As their 4 kids and our 3 kids were destroying the house, we thought the Parker Dam would be a nice place for the kids to play. And we were right!!

Keira got to put her feet in a lake for the first time. Ethan got to swim around and make sand castles. And Anthony had a chance to flirt with some girls. Never a dull moment!

Keira isn't happy about her hat.

Passing out the sand toys.

Kaye, Ethan & Anthony are ready to play in the sand.

Ethan & Anthony flirting with and chasing the girls.

Keira likes her new hat.

But I have to be honest – the best part of the trip was the car ride home. Trading inside jokes with Anthony, singing along to music to calm Keira, and snuggling with Ethan while he drifted off to sleep.

(As a side note, we’ve decided regenerating cows would cure world hunger and dipping wooly llamas into the Gulf of Mexico using helicopters should take care of the oil spill!)

Good to know you’ve taken care of two major world concerns– and on vacation even!!! Kudos to you! Lol. Glad you had some great family time and a chance to get away.
